Heaptalk, Jakarta — HP Indonesia officially launched its first AI-powered laptop, the OmniBook Ultra 14-inch Next Gen AI PC (12/03). This PC is designed for individual users with high AI-related demands, including intellectual workers, freelancers, and students, to help maximize AI’s potential.
The OmniBook Ultra minimizes its environmental impact by using up to 90% recycled metal and 5% ocean-bound plastic. Additionally, it will receive a free update to Microsoft’s PC Copilot+ once it becomes available. This AI laptop is priced at Rp27.9 million and is available on the company’s official website.
“AI will be the most significant driver of change in the coming decade. It opens a new era of innovation fueled by information and actionable insights,” said Choon Teck Lim, Managing Director of HP Indonesia, during the launch event in South Jakarta (12/03).

As an AI-based PC, the OmniBook Ultra is claimed to handle workloads more efficiently while adjusting to models and maintaining user privacy. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processor and equipped with integrated AMD Radeon 800M graphics. HP collaborated with AMD to develop the OmniBook Ultra, delivering NPU performance of up to 55 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second).
Correcting AI hallucinations

The latest device features HP AI Companion, which optimizes the system for higher productivity and directly integrates AI tools and technologies into the device. The company plans to add functionalities to manage PC settings and resolve product issues shortly.
This AI-powered laptop boasts a 9MP resolution camera supported by the Poly Camera Pro application and Windows Studio Effects. Wolf Security protects the device with core-level security chips to recover from AI-based cyberattacks. “HP brings AI closer to businesses through solutions like Z by HP AI Studio. We are also introducing new hybrid work solutions for collaboration and launching the first HP OmniBook Ultra for individual users,” Choon Teck Lim added.
Previously, the company enhanced Z by HP AI Studio capabilities to accelerate and secure AI application deployment and foster AI trust in developing and customizing large language models (LLMs). Z by HP AI Studio is a workstation designed for AI development. By the fall of 2024, the service integrated Galileo to support data scientists and AI creators in building reliable models that detect and correct AI hallucinations.
On the occasion, HP Indonesia also launched the OmniStudio X 27-inch and 31.5-inch All-in-One Desktop PCs. The OmniStudio devices are built with 25% recycled metal and 35% recycled plastic. These devices are priced starting at Rp21.5 million and are available on the company’s official website.
