By adopting artificial intelligence in its service, Looyal aims to seize its business revenue up to US$300,000 and bolster its 2,000 MSMEs partner.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — A Customer Relation Management (CRM) developer, Looyal, has adopted an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to improve customer service. Through this technology adoption, this startup targets to achieve its transactions of US$100 million (around Rp1.5 trillion) and obtain its business revenue of up to US$300,000 (Rp4.5 billion) this year.
In response to this effort, the Co-Founder and CEO of Looyal, Kevin Susanto Goly, delivered that the WhatsApp broadcast module will be automated with AI-based, which is expected to make it easier for MSMEs to reach more markets. However, he elaborated on the implementation of this AI technology adoption is still in the early stage, which means the technology is still semi-manual and requires humans to undertake.
According to Kevin, Looyal plans to release more advanced AI technology to back merchants in responding to customers’ messages automatically and more quickly. As a result, he affirmed that this implementation will complete in the third quarter of 2023.
The company saw several challenges faced by MSMEs, such as 43% of small businesses being unable to survive more than six months post-pandemic, 78% of consumers changing their shopping habits to become more online-oriented, 90% of MSMEs failing to penetrate the digital market fully.
By applying artificial technology to its service, Looyal expects to bolster its 2,000 MSMEs partner throughout Indonesia. Instead of increasing the number of MSME partners, the company emphasizes continuing to focus on business enhancement sustainably. To date, the MSME partner that has operated the Looyal super-selling platform has managed an enhancement in business turnover to around 30% to 50% per month.
Founded by Kevin Susanto Goly and Supriadhi Wicaksono in 2018, Looyal continues to develop its loyalty program (CRM) devoted to its MSME partners. Besides, this startup also provides a module for MSMEs, cashiers or point of sales, automated online shops, digital payment, and online-based CRM.
As additional information, Looyal is one of the startup alumni of the Startup Studio Indonesia (SSI) intensive program from Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Informatics. Looyal is one of the startups that seized a pre-seed investment round in May 2023.
