Heaptalk, Jakarta — Huawei has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, in Indonesia. As the world’s first triple-fold smartphone, it offers an entirely new level of user experience by combining inward, outward, and even tri-fold mechanisms. This innovative device features a large 10.2-inch immersive display, advanced multitasking capabilities, and an ultra-slim design that pushes the boundaries of foldable smartphone technology.

Huiler Fan, CEO of Huawei Device Indonesia, stated, “This is a special moment for us in Indonesia as we bring an unprecedented innovation and experience. With the spirit of ‘Daring to Dream and Striving for the Ultimate,’ we continue to lead the industry.”

After much anticipation, the smartphone has now arrived in Indonesia. The Mate XT Ultimate allows users to seamlessly switch between single-screen, dual-screen, and triple-screen modes, delivering the best experience for work, gaming, or browsing. “The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate series reflects our vision of creating ultra-premium devices, merging craftsmanship and technology perfectly. Only those who dare can achieve greatness,” added Huiler.

Rio Haryanto, Indonesian F1 driver and Huawei Mate XT Ultimate user, shared his experience: “Previously, I had to carry multiple devices—like a tablet for reading documents, a laptop for work and multitasking, and sometimes a small camera for documentation while working or traveling. Now, all those needs are met with just one device: the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate.”

“When folded, the device remains slim and lightweight, making it easy to slip into a pocket or small bag. When partially folded, it’s perfect for quickly checking documents. The large screen is fully opened and ideal for watching videos, editing presentations, or joining online meetings—no laptop is needed. For me, this is truly game-changing. Huawei has created an innovation that’s not only cool, but also practical and highly relevant to my fast-paced and dynamic work,” Rio added.

Edy Supartono, Senior Retail Manager of Huawei Device Indonesia, noted that the Mate XT Ultimate’s advanced precision hinge system enables both inward and outward folding, offering maximum flexibility. Users can choose from multiple configurations: single screen for routine tasks, dual screen for multitasking, or tri-fold mode to run several apps simultaneously.

“Multiview Technology on the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate delivers an outstanding multitasking experience for professionals and students alike. The device enhances productivity by allowing seamless transitions between managing emails, watching videos, and browsing the web,” Edy concluded.
