Heaptalk, Jakarta — Huawei rolls out its latest product, the Huawei MatePad 12 X, in Jakarta. This ultra-thin tablet, priced at US$549.38 or around Rp8.999 million, offers a laptop-like experience.
“As a flagship device for PC-level productivity, the Huawei MatePad 12 X features a pearlescent sheen material, combined with an exceptionally refined and luxurious design, making it one of our luxury products this year,” said Edy Supartono, Training Director of Huawei Device Indonesia.
Edy elaborated that the MatePad 12 X boasts a slim body of 5.9 millimeters thick and weighs only 555 grams. The tablet is available in white and green and is crafted from aluminum alloy with a Natural Mica Powder finish and e-coating, which gives it a Pearlescent Sheen.
A notable feature of Huawei’s products is its accompanying accessories, including the Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Gen, and Huawei Bluetooth Mouse. It also includes exclusive built-in applications such as GoPaint and PC-Level WPS Office.
The tablet also comes with Huawei Notes, an intelligent note-taking app that allows users to take notes while recording audio, edit PDF files, and search notes using handwriting recognition technology.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X has a 12-inch PaperMatte Display with a 2.8K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a brightness level of up to 1,000 nits. The PaperMatte display is known for its anti-glare, anti-fatigue, and anti-fingerprint properties.
The tablet’s keyboard has a micro-velvet anti-stain coating, which makes it resistant to various stains, including pen marks, sauces, and beverages.
The Huawei M-Pencil (3rd Gen) also offers over 10,000 pressure sensitivity levels and a six times faster response rate than Bluetooth, ensuring a precise and responsive writing and drawing experience.
The Huawei MatePad 12 X has a 10,100 mAh battery and is available for pre-order through Huawei’s official sales channels starting today, January 9, 2025.
