Heaptalk, Tangerang – Maxus introduces the All-New Maxus Mifa 7 and The New Maxus Mifa 9 on Friday during its participation in GJAW 2024 (11/22). The launch of these two electric cars also marks Maxus’s journey in Indonesia after cooperating with Indomobil Group-backed PT. Indomobil Energi Baru.
“With proud, we welcome the official launch of Maxus in Indonesia through GJAW 2024. We are very enthusiast because we are directly appointed by SAIC-Maxus to market their product, namely Maxus Mifa 7 and Maxus Mifa 9 in Indonesia,” stated Chief Operating Officer of PT Indomobil Energi Baru, Yudhy Tan.
Yudhy mentioned that this moment is a great time for Maxus to enter Indonesian, especially MPV market as this segment experience growth of 130% from January to October 2024 compared to the previous year result. Maxus also perceived that Indonesian market, particularly for EV market, has tremendous potential. The launch of the two Maxus models also is claimed to answer market needs towards eco-friendly mobility and energy efficiency.
Maxus Mifa 7
Maxus MIFA 7 comes as an electric MPV vehicle (eMPV) which can seat seven people but still provides a spacious interior. This model has batteries with a 90 kWh that and can travel 480 km (WLTC combination) in one charge. The fast-charging system DC 130 kW land enable the car to charge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just about 30 minutes.
Maxus MIFA 7 is also equipped with a panoramic roof that makes the cabin obtain abundant natural light which brings a spacious impression and impressive sky view.
The car also provides wireless charger for smartphones, so the customers can enjoy a comfortable conversation and interference amidst their mobility. With these features, Maxus Mifa 7 is priced at Rp. 788.000.000,- (on-the-road Jakarta) and Rp. 798.000.000 (on-the-road Jakarta) for two-tone color variant.
Maxus Mifa 9
As electric MPV, Maxus Mifa 9 is powered by a 180 kW electric motor, MIFA 9 produces 350 Nm of torque instantly. This vehicle is also equipped with intelligent driving modes such as Normal, Power, and Eco, allowing the driver to adjust the driving style according to the needs and travel conditions.
This MPV is equipped with a 90 kWh battery that is capable of traveling up to 435km (WLTC combination) in one charge. With a DC 130 kW fast charging system, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just about 30 minutes.
Equipped with electric sliding doors and an electric tailgate, the driver and passengers can open the door with single touch when carrying goods or shopping. Multi-zone climate control and second-row climate control will ensure temperature comfort for all passengers. The integrated air purifier in this model also can maintains air quality in the cabin.
The built-in folding table can be retracted and provides extra comfort for passengers to work. MIFA 9 features dual sunroof which allows more natural light to enter the cabin. The interior ambient lighting can be adjusted in up to 64 color options to create the desired atmosphere. The individual touch screen feature found on the second-row seat armrest allows passengers to easily adjust the seat position, massage function, ventilated seat, heater and seat setting memory, and the sliding armrest can cover the touch screen when not in use, keeping the cabin appearance neat and functional.
