Heaptalk, Jakarta — AstraPay, the digital payment service from Astra Financial, achieved positive results during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 by recording a gross transaction value (GTV) of over Rp3 billion, approximately US$184,584 (US$1 equals Rp16,252).
More than 26,000 transactions occurred during this year’s GIIAS, demonstrating the high public interest in digital payments and growing trust in this payment platform. The event, held from July 18-28, 2024, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang, was a significant moment for AstraPay to showcase its innovations and services to visitors.
Simultaneously, during the GIIAS 2024 period, AstraPay gained over 2,000 new users. The growth in new users indicates visitors’ interest in transacting using this digital payment platform.

Karnanda Kurniardhi, Vice President of Partnership at AstraPay, said that GIIAS 2024 was the appropriate moment for the public to get to know and get closer to this payment platform. He said, “AstraPay provided programs and promotions during GIIAS to attract visitors. Visitors could enjoy rewards and vouchers from ticket purchases to payment of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) at Isuzu, Toyota, and Daihatsu.”
During the ten-day exhibition, the platform offered various attractive promotions, such as a Rp10,000 discount for purchasing GIIAS 2024 tickets online and an Rp5,000 cashback for offline purchases. There were also cashback vouchers totaling up to Rp700,000 for users who transacted at GIIAS 2024 using AstraPay’s QRIS. Additionally, the platform provided cashback vouchers and discounts totaling Rp650,000, along with extra AstraPoints worth 350,000 AstraPoints for visitors who paid for their Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) using AstraPay’s QRIS.
“We are very pleased with AstraPay’s achievements at GIIAS 2024. This proves that AstraPay is increasingly accepted and trusted by the public. In the future, AstraPay will continue to innovate and introduce new features to provide a better payment experience for users,” Karnanda concluded.
