Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Rini Widyantini, met with the Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, at the PANRB Ministry office in Jakarta on Monday (12/23). The meeting focused on implementing bureaucratic reforms and addressing organizational restructuring within the Ministry of Industry.
During the discussion, Minister Rini highlighted the steady improvement of Kemenperin’s Bureaucratic Reform (RB) Index over the past five years, culminating in an “A” rating in 2023. She also noted the consistent progress in the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) score, which reached a “BB” rating in the same year.
“The RB and SAKIP indices of the Industry Ministry are currently above the average of other ministries and agencies. Kemenperin needs to maintain its commitment to continuous improvement in implementing SAKIP and RB to enhance its impact on society and stakeholders,” said Rini.
Regarding organizational restructuring, Minister Agus Gumiwang presented proposals for structural adjustments and nomenclature changes within several units of Kemenperin.
Rini stated that these proposals align with the organizational size limits outlined in Presidential Regulation No. 140 of 2024 on State Ministry Organizations. The restructuring aims to support President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita program.
“For instance, the proposed reorganization of the Directorate General of Agro-Industry aligns with efforts to advance downstream processing, enhance the contribution of industrial activities to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and increase domestic export value under the Asta Cita program,” she explained.
Minister Agus expressed his gratitude for the PANRB Ministry’s evaluation and support in improving Kemenperin’s RB index and organizational restructuring. “These organizational adjustments are crucial for accelerating bureaucratic services and supporting the President’s work program,” he remarked.
