Heaptalk, Jakarta — Acting Governor of Southeast Sulawesi, Andap Bushi Revianto, attended the SPBE Summit 2024 and the GovTech Indonesia ‘INA Digital‘ launch at the State Place in Jakarta. (05/27)
Andap Budhi explained, “This event marks a significant step in the development of government technology to enhance efficiency and public service in Indonesia.”
The event featured three main agendas: the launch of GovTech Indonesia INA Digital, the initial launch of the Priority SPBE application, and the presentation of the Digital Government Award as a form of appreciation for the performance and achievements of Central and Regional Government Agencies.
President Joko Widodo attended the event and provided directives on improving government services through digital technology. In his remarks, the President emphasized that the goal of bureaucracy is not to complicate matters but to assist, simplify, and accelerate services to the public.
The President also criticized the existence of around 27,000 standalone, overlapping, and unintegrated application platforms. He instructed that by 2024, the government should cease creating new application platforms to expedite public services and minimize cumbersome bureaucracy.
Instead, the focus should be on strengthening GovTech Indonesia with the launch of INA Digital and ensuring data integration and interoperability among ministries/agencies and regions, eliminating the sectoral ego that has been a barrier.
“We expected that all levels of central and regional government will provide public service more effectively and promote a more transparent, efficient, and accountable government,” emphasized President Jokowi.
Meanwhile, the Acting Governor aims to support the President’s policy in implementing GovTech Indonesia INA Digital in Southeast Sulawesi. “We will follow up on the President’s directives, and Southeast Sulawesi is ready to support the implementation of GovTech Indonesia INA Digital fully. We are committed to taking preparatory steps to integrate data to improve public services in our region,” he stated.
“With the GovTech and Priority SPBE implementation, we are optimistic that the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government will provide more quickly, easier, and more transparent services to the public,” concluded the Acting Governor.
