Heaptalk, Jakarta — Samsung announced that Samsung Members, an application developed globally by Samsung Electronics for all Samsung Galaxy devices, has attained 5 million users. The worldwide technology company also claimed that the application had seized one million monthly active users.
In response to the achievement, the President of Samsung Electronics Indonesia (SEIN), Simon Lee, affirmed, “Samsung is committed to providing excellent experiences to its consumers. The action is held by optimizing the performance of Samsung’s products, particularly Samsung Galaxy. The community is not solely a place to communicate. Every people have the power to deliver a positive impact to other people wherever they are. Therefore, by building the community, the Company intends to increase its engagement with its loyal consumers. The larger growth of its member will drive Samsung to provide more interactive, attractive facilities.”
The establishment of community features in Samsung Members allows the Company to deliver various exciting activities, such as weekly quizzes, monthly contests, etc. By joining the community, Samsung’s users are enabled to discuss product specifications and the latest technology. It also provides opportunities for its users to participate in Samsung’s local and international events, such as ‘Unpacked’, which showcases its featured products annually.
Achieving five million members becomes a special moment for Samsung Electronics Indonesia. As the celebration, Samsung Members will hold a series of events that offer multiple interesting gifts, both for new members and its loyal members. The celebration will contain quizzes, contests, special promotions, and virtual gatherings with all members across Indonesia.
As additional information, Samsung Members has flourished during the whole year with the growth of new users of 1.6 times, from 3 million members in the midst of 2021 to 5 million members in the early June 2022. The monthly active users also are reported achieving 910 thousand members, increasing three times compared to the previous year.
Established in 2018, the application is intentionally created to provide facilities to Samsung’s loyal users. In the app, the users can find ‘Diagnostic’, a feature that assists them in diagnosing the device’s performance automatically. The app also provides ‘Book Appointment’ as a feature to report any problem found on users’ devices.
The users also can interact with other members in the ‘Community’ channel, while obtaining new information and tips for Samsung’s optimization can be performed by checking the ‘News and Tips’ channel. For getting more Samsung Members’ special promotions, the users can check the ‘Benefit’ channel or contact Customer Service through the ‘Support’ menu.
