Volkswagen presents the latest Tiguan Allspace and ID. Buzz at GJAW 2024

Heaptalk, Tangerang — Strengthening its position in Indonesian premium vehicle segment, Volkswagen Indonesia returned to participate in the largest automotive expo at the end of the year, MUF Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2024 (GJAW 2024). During the expo, the Germany-based vehicle brand showcases its latest Tiguan series, Tiguan Allspace Business Edition.

Badawi Marhasan, Head of Sales of Volkswagen Indonesia, stated, “Today we are proud to present the new edition of VW Tiguan Allspace, namely Tiguan Allspace Business Edition. Tiguan Allspace is a Premium SUV from Volkswagen which comes with a luxurious interior and designed for maximum comfort.”

Maharsan added that Volkswagen’s participation in this event is the brand’s concrete commitment to present technology and innovation that are not only relevant to today’s mobility needs, but also prepare solutions for the future.

Showing premium car, Volkswagon also presents its electric car ID. Buzz. The first Volkswagon electric car which just launched in the 2024 GIIAS marked the brand’s important milestones in EV industry.

What’s new in Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Business Edition

With tagline “Ready for Every Move”, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Business Edition comes with a luxurious interior designed for maximum comfort. In the second row, passengers will be pampered with business seats and adjustable electric seats, as well as electric reclining features for ease in finding the ideal seating position.

The pleasure of driving feels more luxurious and comfortable with the ventilated heating feature, and even the massage feature for maximum passenger relaxation. Tiguan Allspace Business Edition is also equipped with wireless charging, as well as a rear central storage compartment, providing great comfort and practicality for every trip.

ID.Buzz

As Volkswagen’s first battery-based electric vehicle (BEV) in Indonesia, ID. Buzz is part of the brans journey towards sustainability. With a range of 430 km and the ability to charge up to 80% in just 30 minutes, ID. Buzz provides comfort and tranquility on trips in the city or long distances. The maximum torque of 560 Nm also makes it very suitable for various traffic conditions inside and outside the city.

“We believe ID. Buzz is a first choice of families Indonesia who adore premium MPV that is ideal to fulfill various growing needs, both for trips in the city and vacations to various tourist destinations in Indonesia,” added Badawi.

Regarding local component level requirement, Volkswagen also intends to produce ID Buzz in Indonesia. This measure also is claimed as  Volkswagen Indonesia’s commitment in responding to market trends, as well as supporting government programs to accelerate the transition to vehicle electrification in the country.
