Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indomobil Group partnered strategically with PLN Icon Plus by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Indonesia at the Electricity Connect 2024 event. This partnership involves PLN Icon Plus procuring EVs from Indomobil Group to strengthen the nation’s electric mobility ecosystem.
“This collaboration is a concrete step in supporting the government’s initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and accelerate the shift towards sustainable mobility. We hope this partnership will inspire greater public trust in EVs, ultimately contributing to reducing carbon footprints,” said Andrew Nasuri, Director of Indomobil Group.
Furthermore, the cooperation seeks to expedite Indonesia’s transition towards environmentally friendly mobility, aligning with the country’s vision of building a robust and sustainable EV ecosystem. Under the agreement, PLN Icon Plus will leverage EVs from various renowned brands represented by Indomobil Group.
The MoU was signed by Jusak Kertowidjojo, President and Director of Indomobil Group, accompanied by Harry Pramono, President and Director of Indorent, and Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, Commissioner of Indomobil Group. Representing PLN Icon Plus was its President Director, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi.

At Electricity Connect 2024, Indomobil Group showcases eight EV brands with 16 models displayed at the Plenary Hall of the Jakarta Convention Center. Highlights include four-wheeled vehicles such as GAC Aion’s Hyptec HT Premium and Aion Y Plus; Citroën’s EC3; Kia’s EV6 GT-Line and EV9 GT-Line; Nissan’s Ariya and Leaf; VW’s ID.Buzz; Maxus’ Mifa 7 and Mifa 9; and Foton’s E-Truckmate and E-View commercial vehicles. Additionally, Indomobil Emotor Adora, a two-wheeled EV, is being featured.
