Heaptalk, Jakarta — Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Jakarta. This powerful, pocket-sized smartphone is now more versatile, featuring a sleek design and advanced Galaxy AI to deliver an experience that prioritizes user creativity.

“The main screen on a foldable phone must also withstand external impacts and return to its original shape when the device is opened. This capability has now been enhanced in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 thanks to new materials and design techniques that ensure both durability and flexibility,” Samsung stated.
In addition to being equipped with a protective layer and flexible protective film stack, the main screen of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also reinforced with an ultrathin glass (UTG) layer that increases the screen thickness by up to 60%, making it more resistant to impact. Furthermore, highly efficient organic materials and new coating techniques on the display panel, with lower reflectivity, maximize the device’s usage duration and make the screen easier to view outdoors, with maximum brightness increased from 1,750 to 2,600 nits.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 also features Samsung’s advanced hinge technology, which results in a slimmer design and a smoother folding experience. When the device is closed, four drive shafts fold the screen into a waterdrop shape, perfectly fitting it together. This integrated hinge module has a symmetrical dual rail structure evenly distributes shock.
The device can be folded, fully open, and at various angles between 75 and 115 degrees. Flex Mode allows users to place the device in different folding positions to watch videos or take photos without needing a phone stand or tripod.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the first in the series to feature a vapor chamber. This feature distributes heat to prevent the device from overheating. The larger the vapor chamber, the more effective the heat dissipation, allowing the device to maintain stable performance. Samsung has successfully incorporated a large vapor chamber into its foldable lineup.
