For global meetings, I can easily record all conversations within the meeting and the Transcript Assist will convert it into text, even summarize it with one tap. Another feature is the Live Translate. While I’m on the business call with a foreigner, I can easily activate the feature. No more being lost in the translation. Because these two features use an AI on-device, then the privacy and security from that meeting will be safely secured. This AI on-device is only available in our latest Galaxy S device,” explained Lo Khing Seng, the Vice President of MX Business Samsung Electronics Indonesia.
Singer Raisa also feels the benefits from the feature available in the Galaxy S24 Series with Galaxy AI. The Chat Assist feature that is supported by Samsung Keyboard is making Raisa to be able to translate chats instantly without the need to use a third party application. Raisa is also helped with the language style suggestions, such as casual or formal, and answer suggestions according to the current conversation to ensure the conversation is natural despite using a foreign language that is rarely used on a daily basis.
“In 2024, I have several wishlists for collaboration with foreign musicians to give special works for fans. So, it is necessary for me to connect with international musicians from different countries to open up cooperation opportunities. The Chat Assist feature in the Galaxy S24 Series has been helping me to connect with creative musicians from other countries without any communication and language barriers. The Chat Assist feature is very helpful for translating chats or emails in different languages real-time. Another cool thing is that this Chat Assist can translate into 13 languages, so I won’t be scared to reach out to people with languages I’m not fluent in to find new opportunities that can result in new exciting works,” explained Raisa.
Similar to Raisa, Dian Sastrowardoyo also expressed that these innovative features from Galaxy AI in the Galaxy S24 Series are convenient to help her finish her works. One of Dian Sastro’s favorite supporting productivity features is a Transcript Assist. With this feature, Dian has a new life-hack to help her in her daily life as a lecturer.
“This has been my personal favorite feature especially for my work. As a lecturer, I usually record the materials that have been explained to the students for review. However, I barely have time to listen to the recording again. With the Transcript Assist, I can easily read the transcript of my result of teaching without the need to listen to the recording. This is very practical, from a voice recording it can be directly transcripted as text like this. Apart from being supported with 13 languages, another thing that makes this feature my favorite is that we can easily summarize the transcript. This feature can be used as a practical life-hack,” explained Dian.
The Galaxy S24 series becomes more perfect for Dian because it is equipped with a Note Assist that uses AI to compose a summary from a long note. This feature is also able to create a format or note template to be simpler when it is written very scattered. Also, this feature can produce a cover note that can give a simpler preview for every note to make it easier to recognize.
Besides that, Dian is also in favor of the Web Assist feature in the Galaxy S24 Series that comes in handy to create a summary for a material that will be used as a teaching resource. With the Web Assist, Dian can search for articles in various websites then composing a summary from said resource as needed, including making translations if it is necessary.
