Heaptalk, Jakarta — To celebrate Earth Day and the first anniversary of the Green Ticket initiative, tiket.com partners with Plataran Indonesia to support sustainable tourism.
“Sustainable tourism is more than just a trend—it represents the future of travel. With our technology and broad reach, ticket.com aims to be a driver of change by facilitating people to explore Indonesia in responsible and impactful ways,” said Gaery Undarsa, Co-Founder and CMO of tiket.com, during the press event in Jakarta. This initiative aligns with insights from the Tourism and Creative Economy Outlook 2024/2025 by Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, which identifies ecotourism as a key trend. It also echoes findings from the YouGov survey 2024, showing that 85% of Gen Z travelers now consider sustainability when choosing travel products and services.
The strategic alliance promotes sustainable tourism nationwide by encouraging greater industry participation. Its goal is to generate long-term positive impacts on the environment and regional economic development. Flagship properties like Plataran Komodo Resort & Spa, Plataran Menjangan Resort & Spa, and Plataran Bromo Resort & Venue exemplify how sustainability can be embedded into meaningful, conservation-driven ecotourism experiences.
“This partnership allows us to extend the reach of ecotourism and reinforce the message that comfort, design, and sustainability can go hand in hand. Plataran is a living example of how the concept of a True Indonesian Icon can be brought to life without compromising service excellence,” said Yozua Makes, CEO and Founder of Plataran Indonesia.
All Plataran properties known for their sustainable approach are now available for booking on tiket.com. This allows travelers to choose eco-conscious accommodations in iconic destinations such as Puncak, Borobudur, Bromo, Ubud, Canggu, Menjangan, and Labuan Bajo.
