The cooperation agreement between Telkom and Kadin opens up opportunities to explore the utilization of PaDi UMKM to take MSMEs to the next level.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Telkom Indonesia announced a cooperation with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) to provide a digital marketing platform for MSMEs. This cooperation will allow MSMEs under the auspices of Kadin to promote their products and services digitally through the PaDi UMKM platform as a product of Leap-Telkom Digital.
The cooperation agreement also opens up opportunities to explore the utilization of PaDi UMKM to take Indonesian MSMEs to the next level. In addition, this step is an effort by the two parties to establish synergy to encourage the growth of Indonesia’s digital economy.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was carried out by Telkom’s EVP Digital Business and Technology Komang Budi Aryasa and Deputy Chairperson of the Kadin Sulawesi Region Kukrit Suryo Wicaksono in Jakarta.
“This MoU paves the way for MSMEs members of Kadin to be more digital in reaching a wider market, as well as being a solution that allows MSMEs to transact with various SOEs and companies outside of SOEs that are registered with PaDi UMKM,” said Komang.
Further, Kadin-assisted MSMEs can use multiple features and services available on the PaDi UMKM platform to support their business development. “PaDi UMKM facilitates SOEs and non-SOEs to fulfill their goods and services procurement needs. MSME actors who have quality products and services also have the opportunity to market their products easier and more effectively through the use of technology,” added PaDi UMKM CEO Jimmy Karisma.
The Indonesian economy has greater growth potential through digital transformation. This collaboration is expected to further accelerate digitalization in the MSME sector in an effort to build Indonesia’s digital ecosystem.
