Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Mitsubishi Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian (MMKI) announced that Mitsubishi’s production in Indonesia had reached a milestone of 1 million units throughout 2024.
Takao Kato, President & Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, shared during a ceremony in Jakarta on Thursday, January 2, 2025, “Thanks to the support from the Indonesian government, suppliers, and our partner companies, our production hub in Indonesia has become a cornerstone of our business. Vehicles produced here are sold across Indonesia and exported to other countries, including ASEAN nations, establishing this facility as a vital production site for the ASEAN region. We will continue introducing exciting products and contributing to Indonesia’s economic growth.”
Minoru Saito, President Director of MMKI, emphasized, “This achievement reflects the strong acceptance of MMKI’s products in domestic and export markets. MMKI remains committed to delivering high-quality, reliable vehicles to meet customer expectations and demands while increasing production facility utilization.
