Heaptalk, Jakarta — MG Motor Indonesia officially launched its new EVs, namely Maxus 9 and ES EV, at IIMS 2024. COO of MG Motor Indonesia Donald Rachmat stated that the presence of these two vehicles confirms the brand’s position as a leader in the EV category.
“With a clear vision and strong commitment, MG not only presents a more environmentally friendly vehicle alternative but also changes the mobility paradigm in Indonesia,” said Donald at IIMS 2024 at JIExpo Kemayoran (02/15).
Maxus 9 marks a new era in the 7-passenger premium electric MPV segment. According to Donald, this model shows company’s commitment to providing mobility options that are not only sustainable but also able to meet consumer expectations for comfort and style.
Meanwhile, MG ES EV is included in the electric station wagon segment for daily travel with fast charging capabilities. With an elegant design and modern features, Donald emphasized that the MG ES EV is the answer for those looking for an environmentally friendly everyday vehicle without sacrificing comfort and style.
He explained, “These two models not only confirm MG’s commitment to supporting the government’s vision of sustainable mobility but also mark MG’s excellence in providing the most complete range of electric vehicles in the Indonesian automotive market.
