Heaptalk, Jakarta — Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) has received the Indi 4.0 Award in the Smart Factory category from the Ministry of Industry. This recognition was achieved through the creation and optimization of industrial technology, both in general and specifically in the realm of Industry 4.0.

As an official brand holder, manufacturer, and distributor of Isuzu vehicles in Indonesia, the company demonstrates its supports for government programs aligned with the automotive industry. One of these initiatives is Making Indonesia 4.0, which aims to advance the entire business ecosystem in Indonesia and position the country among the Top 10 Global Economies by 2030.

Under the program, industry players are encouraged to enhance productivity through digital transformation across all business sectors, including the automotive industry, which is one of the seven targeted business sectors by the government. Yusak Kristian, President Director of PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI), explained that this achievement signifies that the company’s vision of becoming a World Class Manufacturer is beginning to materialize, which will further enhance the company’s performance moving forward.

“This award reinforces IAMI’s journey to become a National Lighthouse and affirms that IAMI’s digitalization efforts are recognized by the state, bringing us closer to our vision of becoming a World Class Manufacturer,” Yusak stated in a written statement on Monday (10/07).

With this award, Isuzu is recognized as a company participating in the Making Indonesia 4.0 program from the Ministry of Industry and is one of 60 companies in Indonesia with an Indi 4.0 score greater than 3.0. Furthermore, the company is the first in Indonesia to receive an Indi 4.0 Certificate in the commercial vehicle (CV) sector.
