Heaptalk, Jakarta — Garuda Indonesia, the national airline, is partnering with Singapore Airlines to gradually increase the frequency of Jakarta-Singapore flights starting in Q4 2024.
In more detail, Garuda Indonesia will increase its Jakarta-Singapore round-trip flights from four to six times daily beginning December 1, 2024. Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines will raise its Singapore-Jakarta round-trip flights from six to eight times daily starting November 22, 2024.
The two airlines will also expand their codeshare agreement to operate flights from Singapore to four destinations in Indonesia, including Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan, and Surabaya, as well as international routes from Singapore to various European and Asian destinations. Through this agreement, both airlines will operate at least 390 weekly flights, with 362 flights between multiple destinations in Singapore and Indonesia.
Enhancing frequent flyer programs
