Heaptalk, Jakarta – The Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) on October to return on 2 to 6 October 2024 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta. Highlighting youthpreneur, the five-day craft expo aims to bag Rp100 billion in transaction value.

The Director of Mediatama Event, Umi Noor Wijilati, stated, “Inacraft on October last year managed to attain transaction value of Rp60.2 billion. Thus, for this year, we target to attract transaction value of Rp100 billion”.

Moreover, the international handicraft expo is expected to attract 100,000 visitors, and 500 visitors from foreign countries, with the trade contract estimated to attain US$1.2 million.

According to Umi, although society’s purchasing power has decreased significantly, this target remains realistic.

“This target is realistic, last year we managed to reach Rp60.2 billion transaction value. Moreover, the tourism industry is also still popular, and many people are quite interested in visiting tourist destinations; this indicates that the purchasing power remains strong,” stated Umi.

Umi also added that around 897 exhibitors will participate in this event and will occupy the entire upper hall. The international craft expo will also be opened by the Minister of Cooperation and MSMEs, Teten Masduki, this Wednesday.

Inacraft on October 2024 is claimed to highlight craft products from young entrepreneur. Baby Jurmawati, the Deputy Chairman II of ASEPHI, during the press conference, stated, “We really support youngpreneurs. Because of this reason, their booth is placed in the main lobby”.

Aiming to increase young visitors, ASEPHI and Mediatama apply free entry for students. Meanwhile, general visitor only needs to pay Rp25,000 to join the event.
As the international craft exhibition, several delegations will attend the event, including India, South Korea, Pakistan, Poland, World Craft Council (WCC),
