Heaptalk, Jakarta – After the first wave of Soundrenaline’s line-up announcement last month, Ravel Entertainment as the event’s promoter, leaked the additional line-up that will enliven the cross-genre music festival.
In its official press release, eight sophisticated artists will take the stage, including Weezer, Mura Masa, Adoy, Secondhand Serenade, A Place To Bury Strangers, Ignite, The Ataris, and Sheila Majid.
“We saw high enthusiasm from music lovers after the first announcement of Soundrenaline 2022 and the event’s lineup, both from the international artists and local artists. Now, we will announce 8 additional international artists to our line-up. Thus, we have announced a total of 13 international artists from 18 artists that will be ready to enliven the event,” stated the CEO of Ravel Entertainment, Ravel Junardy.
Junardy expects to bring back the hype of Soundrenaline as Indonesia’s largest pop culture cross-genre music festival. He also hopes the organizing of this festival and its adorable lineup can inspire other musicians.
The promotor has made a headline after successfully bringing one of the most awaited bands, Weezer, to Soundrenaline’s stage. In addition, the appearance of Malaysia’s diva, Sheila Majid also becomes one of the magnets to attract more people to visit the music festival.
“I think numerous young music enthusiast are familiar with Sheila Majid’s songs, such as ‘Sinaran’, ‘Antara Anyer dan Jakarta’, and ‘Cinta Jangan Kau Pergi’, as many national performers covers the songs and the viewer is high. I intend to introduce the original singer to people to enjoy her special performance in Soundrenaline 2022”. Ravel also leaked the information about Sheila Majid’s performance concept, he stated that the Malaysia diva will collaborate with a stellar Indonesian musician in the festival. In his view, Soundrenaline can be a place for people to throwback.
In its implementation, Ravel Entertainment cooperates with Samara Live to present best content aside of music performance, thus the event is claimed will be different from other music festival.
