Heaptalk, Jakarta – A community-based group whose members are CIOs, CTOs, CFOs from Southeast Asia, ICION, is poised to organize the XCION 11th Conference from March 4 to 6, in Bali, Indonesia. By adopting a theme titled “Charting the Future with Innovative and Secured Technology”, the conference will invite a minimum of 25 top-notch speakers to share the latest trends and insightful experiences about future technology.

The founder of ICION, Ray M. Sugiarto, stated, “Our participants are a group of senior executives or CXOs which are comprised of CIOs, CTOs, and CFOs who typically are interested in technology. The theme is chosen to address the needs of CXO, namely to use technologies to make people, both external and internal, easier to do business and become more competitive in doing business.” (11/24).

Moreover, the one and half day event with two night of networking dinners is designed to broaden the participants’ networking and help the business ecosystem in Southeast Asia flourish. Ray commented that the XCION 11th will deliver a fresh concept compared to the previous year event.

Delivering full support for the organizing of the XCION 11th Conference and Exhibition, the CEO and Founder of Nakama ID, Temmy Debora, conveyed, “Indonesia will be in the middle of the presidential election next year and with all going well Indonesia will see a new president that will charter the country future for the next five to ten years. Indonesia has lots of good thing happening for the next 10 years. With a new president and leader in place in late 2024 and considering Indonesia’s position as the largest market in Southeast Asia, I think this event in March 2024 is a good place and time for the leaders in the ICT community to show the rest of SEA the potential that the country holds.”

As additional information, ICION has been known as Indonesia’s CIO network for over ten years, but the community started to rebrand it. “After the Covid-19, our determination is also to present in Malaysia, Singapore, and we just started in Thailand. This event turns into a platform that addresses the needs of CXOs in Southeast Asia,” concluded Ray Sugiarto.
