Heaptalk, Jakarta – Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman officially opened the Jakarta International Handicrafts Trade Expo (Inacraft) 2025 at JICC on Wednesday (01/05). Appreciating Asephi and Mediatama as the host and co-organizer of the expo, Maman stated that Asephi consistently innovates to advance the growth of Indonesia’s MSME.

”As we know, Inacraft remains the largest craft event. And there is no doubt with their (Asephi and Mediatama Events) efforts to support MSMEs to grow. They are always at the forefront,” stated Minister Maman at the opening ceremony of Inacraft 2025.

Maman also hopes that Inacraft 2025, which is attended by 1,061 exhibitors, can attain its target transaction, namely Rp100 million in retail transactions and USD 1.5 million in trade contracts.

“Last year, Inacraft managed to record a total transaction of Rp75 billion. This is a great momentum for MSMEs to level up,” conveyed the Minister.

Minister Maman also highlighted the importance of the event to drive the growth of MSMEs and assist Indonesia in achieving its ambitious 8% GDP target.

“Exhibitions like Inacraft can help encourage our economy and drive us to attain our GDP target, approximately 8%. And to support the MSMEs to grow, I prefer to call them (MSMEs) as entrepreneurs than business actors,” said Maman.

Meanwhile, Asephi’s Chairman Muchsin Ridjan is optimistic that Inacraft will successfully attract people. He mentioned that the event has its unique selling point, namely presenting various high-quality handmade crafts that adopt culture as the product’s DNA.

“I hope many people can enjoy the craft exhibition while supporting MSMEs to revive,” voiced Muchsin Ridjan.

On the first day, the event also was attended by Vice President, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and the Second Lady Selvi Ananda. Moreover, Minister of Cooperation Budi Arie Setiadi also attended the opening ceremony of Inacraft 2025.
