Heaptalk, Jakarta – Jakarta X Beauty 2024 opens at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta on Thursday (12/05). Organized from 5 to 8 December, the four-days event is claimed as World’s largest beauty expo which participated by over 400 brands from beauty and wellness industry.
“Jakarta X Beauty 2024 is re-organized and this is not only about shopping, but also exploration, networking, and empowering,” stated Putri Tanjung, CEO Trans Digital Lifestyle Group during a talkshow titled “Championing The Future of Beauty in 2025 with Female Daily”.
Regarding the growth, Editor in Chief Female Daily Arinda Kristy conveyed that the scale of Jakarta X Beauty grows exponentially year by year. Starting from 2023, the event even has been organized twice a year.
“This event grows exponentially. At the first organizing, we only attract 15,000 people in 2017. But on the last organizing on June, we managed to attract 155,000 people. Based on this result, this event is considered as World’s largest beauty expo,” stated CMO of Female Daily Network Rika Indraoktaviani.
Rika explained that the key factors that drives this growth are innovation and consistency.
Meanwhile, Editor in Chief Female Daily Arinda Kristy stated that this event adopts theme ‘You are the Future of Beauty’. The theme also becomes a campaign which implemented continuously to reach inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation.
“This is not solely a theme, but also a campaign which is carried out continuously. This includes three pillars, innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity,” explained Arinda.
Arinda conveyed that innovation should be carried out by the industry to keep up with the current trends. This is the key that makes brands can grow and survive. Meanwhile, inclusivity means that beauty is not only about women, but also men.
“Beauty is not only about women but also men. Every people has skin and skincare is not only for women but also for men because it is the basic needs for people. And this message is what we deliver continually,” said Arinda.
Regarding sustainability, Jakarta X Beauty 2024 also creates sustainability campaign by collecting used products bottles or packaging to be recycled.
“Through this activity, we make a concrete action to achieve sustainability,” voiced Rika.
