Heaptalk, Jakarta — The 2024 Indonesia Sustainable Procurement Expo (ISPE) 2024 announced has successfully attracted over 1600 visitors from various government agencies, both from central and local government.
Initiated by National Economy Consultant Association (AKEN) and Keren Event Organizer, this event involved over 21 ministries, 24 province governments, 20 district governments, 23 municipals, 26 departments from province government, 34 departments from municipals, numerous private sectors, universities, schools, public health center, and hospitals.
The Head of LKPP, Hendrar Prihadi, during the opening ceremony of ISPE 2024 stated, “Particular point or priority point in purchasing product for government procurement is considering a sustainability aspect. ISPE is a moment for us to unite our mindset about the importance of this aspect in government procurement process.”
During the event, ISPE held a business matching exclusive for 8 companies which was attended by over 80 participants from government institutions. The event also presented awards for institutions who conducted the highest transaction of local products purchase. The winners are the Ministry of Law and Human Right, DKI Jakarta Province, Denpasar City, and Banyuwangi Regency.
Moreover, ISPE also invited procurement experts in International Symposium, spanning Rowenaa Cndice M. Ruiz ((Government Procurement Policy Board, Philippines), Iwan Herniwan (Sekretaris Utama LKPP), Sonnya Sumarsono (Chairman of IAPI), and Samsul (Senior Procurement Specialist in Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan).
During the agenda, Rowena stated, “I wanted to emphasize three things in implementing policies for green public procurement, sustainable public procurement. First, make a clear policy that’s very important, Second processes and advances or scale the system and everything, and last is action plan.”
