To attain this target, Garuda Indonesia has allocated 12,500 tickets and discounts up to 80% to multiple tourist destinations in GOTF 2023.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Garuda Online Travel Fair (GOTF) 2023 is gearing up to be held virtually from March 27th to April 2nd. Organized by Garuda Indonesia and Dyandra Promosindo as the promotor, this event is projected to boost the transaction value by 20% compared to the previous year.

In order to attain this target, Garuda Indonesia will offer discounts of up to 80% with the allocation of 12,500 tickets spread to various tourist destinations, including domestic and international destinations. Moreover, the national airline also provides flexibility with the flights departing until April 27th, 2024.

The Director of Services and Trade of Garuda Indonesia, Ade Susardi, during the Garuda Online Travel Fair 2023 press conference, stated, “The traveling demand increased last year but experienced a slight decline at the end of January. However, domestic and international travel sees high demand in school holidays and exodus traveling. Capturing people’s necessities during these peak seasons, we provide early bird tickets at a special price through this event.” (03/20)

Enlivening GOTF, Garuda Indonesia has collaborated with well-known Online Travel Agents (OTA), spanning Traveloka and Tiket.com. Mandiri Bank, GOTF’s sponsor last year, also returned to support this travel expo this year. The presence of OTAs and Bank Mandiri will assist Garuda Indonesia in attracting more consumers through their multiple enticing promotions.

The Director of Networking and Retail Banking of Bank Mandiri Aquarius Rudianto conveyed, “Bank Mandiri will provide discounts up to Rp2.5 million for both credit card and debit card holders. We also will hold flash sale at any given time and cashback up to Rp200 thousand for the transaction through Livin Suka, Tiket.com, and Traveloka.”

Delivering these promotions, Rudi is optimistic this moment can escalate the transaction value exponentially and drive Indonesia’s tourism sector. Align with Rudi’s statement, the Director of Transportation of Tiket.com Andri Hendrawan conveyed, “By the ease of Government restriction towards the covid-19 protocol, people’s activities return to normal. We believe the tourism industry will totally revive this year.”
