Heaptalk, Jakarta — To commemorate its first year of operations, Bank Saqu, a digital banking service from PT Bank Jasa Jakarta, owned by Astra Financial and WeLab, held the event ‘Rising Stars: Celebrating the Milestone of Bank Saqu’s First Anniversary’ in Jakarta.
Angela Lew Dermawan, Chief Digital Business Officer of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta, expressed her gratitude. Popular features include Tabungmatic and Saku Booster, which integrate Indonesia’s first automatic savings feature with daily transaction activities, making saving more accessible and effortless. Currently, 30% of active transaction customers have adopted the Tabungmatic feature.
The bank’s innovative features and services have been well-received, as evidenced by its award from The Asian Banker for Best Digital Savings Innovation in Indonesia for its Busposito and Tabungmatic innovations, which make financial services more accessible.
During the event, Bank Saqu also announced the winners of the Solopreneur Academy 2024. “Since its launch in April 2024, the program has attracted 295 solopreneurs. Three winners were selected this year based on business innovation, growth, and positive societal impact. The winners were Scents of Pluto, Manique.co, and Guttday Fermentary. These winners have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and adaptability in running their businesses amidst challenges,” Angela concluded.
