Huawei officially unveils HUAWEI MateBook D14 and HUAWEI MateBook D15

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Huawei announced to release of HUAWEI MateBook D14 and MateBook D15 as its latest Matebook D Series products (4/12). The launch of this MateBook series is claimed to present a premium design and support fast-paced productivity for its consumers. 

On the product launch, the Country Head of Huawei CBG Indonesia, Patrick Ru, stated, “Huawei commits to grant the best quality for each product innovation that has been created, including Intel 11th Generation processor, pinned on this MateBook D series. The latest laptop series is launched to become an excellent and powerful product. The materials, testing, and manufacturing quality of HUAWEI MateBook products reflect high industry standards to ensure that the laptop products manufactured by Huawei become the benchmark for premium technology,” 

HUAWEI MateBook D14 and D15 are created with aluminum to present a lighter device with a robust design and adopt a bezel ultra-slim of 4,8 mm, allowing a more extensive screen dimension in a compact laptop body to provide a wider angle. 

This MateBook D14 series has 1,38 kilograms of weight with15,9 mm in thickness and a screen-to-body ratio of 84%. At the same time, MateBook D15 has 1,56 kilograms of weight with 16,9 mm in thickness and a high screen-to-body ratio of 87%.

The Flicker-Free and Low BlueLight feature certified by TÜV Rheinland provides users convenience when operating their laptops. This eye safety feature can minimize consumers’ eye tensity to utilize this Huawei MateBook series for a long duration. Likewise, Huawei also contributes a better security level by introducing a recessed camera embedded in the keyboard, that rarely found on laptops of its grade.

Furthermore, Country Marketing Manager Intel Indonesia, Silvester Widyo Winarcahyo, uttered, “Intel 11th Gen powers HUAWEI MateBook D Series to enhance productivity. Intel presents innovation to give performance improvements that go beyond limits for productivity, creativity, gaming, entertainment, and collaboration,” 

The 11th generation of  Intel® Core™ i5 processor and Windows 11 operating system technology can provide advanced performance for this new laptop series that suits fast-paced productivity demands. Also, this HUAWEI MateBook D series is equipped with multiple unique intelligent features assisting people’s activities.

The Fingerprint Power button specification is displayed by Huawei, enabling consumers to re-login and simultaneously verify the security code more quickly in less than 5 seconds without re-typing their password anymore. The customers will also be granted fast charging with Compact Type-C Charger, which can be utilized by several devices to get easier bringing anywhere without carrying multiple charging cables. This MateBook D series can charge its battery only for 15 minutes to enable basic system operating for up to 2 hours.

The MateBook D14 and MateBook D15 series can screenshot easily to convert pictures into text conversions without re-typing and transforming the format manually. Screen recording presents a clear voice to record meeting activities or online learning without installing different software. This series also provides AI Search technology to find the needed document more rapidly and efficiently, whereby this feature will automatically the required documents, pictures, videos, and folders.  

The presence of the Super Device on the latest HUAWEI MateBook D14 and D15 also enhances the Multi-Screen Collaboration function, which allows accessing two separate devices on one Personal Computer screen. This innovation carries various new functioning, including file transfer between two devices through drag and drop instruction.

The MateBook D series can connect to a HUAWEI MatePad tablet to boost user productivity. Several modes are provided to ease the usage, namely, Mirror Mode, a replication of the PC screen into the tablet screen to display the commands performed from the HUAWEI MatePad 10.4 in real-time on the PC. Also, Extend Mode feature, changing a tablet into an external monitor on a PC to increase productivity with several screen displays, and Collaboration Mode to manage tablet files.

The HUAWEI MateBook D series is officially available through Pre-Order on April 12th – 22nd, 2022. Consumers can purchase the HUAWEI MateBook D14 series for USD 731 and the HUAWEI MateBook D15 for USD 766. Also, this Chinese technology company will offer exciting rewards to appreciate their purchasing of each MateBook D series. Attractive offers presented are 1 unit of HUAWEI FreeLace, Backpack, HUAWEI Bluetooth Mouse, and Microsoft Office 365 with a total of USD 188 and cashback of USD 20,91.

Purchasers can reserve this MateBook D series through an online marketplace, including Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli.com, JD.ID, Eraspace.com, Datascrip, and Huawei’s official store. Welcoming Ramadhan, Huawei’s official store gives Grand Ramadhan Sale on April 18th – 25th, 2022, at online marketplaces with discounts up to 50%, gifts up to USD 111, and limited vouchers worth USD 34,84 (1 USD equals Rp. 14,350).
