Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (KPMI), in collaboration with Lima Event, hosted the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC) on August 30th – September 1st, 2024.
This conference aims to promote knowledge exchange, build stronger international partnerships, and inspire a new wave of innovation in the Halal sector. This conference presents a unique opportunity for local businesses to connect with international partners, gain insights from global best practices, and explore new market opportunities.
“For the broader Muslim community, the strategies and ideas discussed will help shape a more resilient and prosperous future, ensuring that the Halal economy continues to grow and thrive amidst the rapidly changing global landscape,” Rahmat added.
According to Rahmat, JHEC adopts a B2B (Business to Business) concept, targeting businesses ready to expand their Halal products and services internationally. Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference serves as a platform for realizing those ambitions.
“JHEC will be an event for entrepreneurs, artisans, and major brands to showcase their Halal-certified products and services,” explained Fachrul Azmi, Project Manager of JHEC.
Regarding participants, Fachrul confirmed that representatives from Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Palestine, the United Arab Emirates, West Africa, Turkey, Ethiopia, and New Zealand would attend.
“We hope that JHEC can be a gateway for local SMEs to go international and also unlock the potential of Indonesia’s Halal market for the global audience,” said Fachrul Azmi.
