Heaptalk, Jakarta — Telkom Indonesia’s subsidiary, Telin, inaugurated the Telin Operation and Command Center (TOCC) to manage and supervise telecommunications services and networks for all global customers (03/20).
As the reborn of the World Hub Operation and Command Center (WHOCC), TOCC is expected to deliver a significant impact on business progress, integrated systems, and centralized business development. Telin stated that this transformation does not only focus on ideas but also real action.
On this occasion, the company also launched One Telin Playbook and Operational Guidance as a guide to developing best-in-class digital talent at the Group. In its transformation, the company implemented One Telin Operation which is based on the North Star Vision, namely ‘To be digital infrastructure & platform partner of choice for enterprise & hyperscaler in Asia Pacific’, with the industry growth of 17% and business growth of 38%.
According to Telin CEO Budi Satria Dharma Purba, the change of WHOCC into TOCC is an integrated transformation that unites Telin’s operations in all parts of the world as well as a form of One Telin implementation. “This delightful moment also coincides with Telin’s 17th birthday, marking the company’s commitment to facing challenges and providing the best service to customers,” Budi said in a written statement (03/20).
Having been operating for 17 years, Telin has established global offices in several countries across continents, spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, Malaysia, Taiwan, Timor Leste, Myanmar, and Indonesia with a total infrastructure including 222,260 kilometers of cable system length. The company also operates numerous global points of presence (PoP) in America, Asia, and Europe as well as data centers in Dili, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
