Heaptalk, Jakarta – International chains of family entertainment center, Timezone, introduces room party and first social bowling in Bekasi at its branch in Summarecon Mall Bekasi, Indonesia on Saturday (20/22). The presence of these arcades is expected to create different experiences in playing bowling for people who are unfamiliar with this games while providing society a right place to spend their family time.
“Social bowling is usually in the top three of all attractions in every single venue that we open, so we are very proud of this, it has been received very well by our guests,” stated Deputy General Operations of PT Matahari Graha Fantasi, Paulus Frands Loyd Gurning during the press conference on Saturday at Timezone Summarecon Mall Bekasi (10/22).
Gurning added that many Indonesian is unfamiliar with bowling. For this reason, Timezone has conducted several adjustments to create more fun for people who try bowling for the very first time. So, people can enjoy playing bowling easily with their family or friends.
“I think, I found in Indonesia many people have never been tried bowling before, it is something relatively new, I am probably a bit scary, when you see a very long lane, it is quite difficult to do bowling. Why we call it social bowling is because it is quite simpler with shorter lane and you don’t have to wear certain shoes, you can wear any shoes you like,” conveyed Gurning.
In addition to these adjustments, the company also has designed the new arcade to be more friendly for children. Through the design, social bowling is claimed can be played by children age above five years old.
“And also for children (in social bowling) we have a ramp that will help them, so it is all about having fun, it is not necessarily about taking it too serious,” said Gurning.
Regarding the party room, Gurning explained that this is the sixth party room in Indonesia that can be utilized to hold 30 parties per month. The party room also can easily accommodate 50 children with their parents considering the whole venue that is available for children. By opening this facility, Timezone intends to offer a solution for parents who want to organize unique party for their children.
“This is a unique preposition again in Indonesia. Different to other companies, this is not only about an event, this is about having entertainment with family and friends. When you are a parent, it is stressful to house a party. Thus, we have a party house on standby to take the stress away from the parents and you can also get 90 minutes to playing games,” stated Gurning.
