Oppo Reno8 T Series will be available in the Indonesian market on February 7, 2023, consisting of Reno8 T 4G and Reno8 T 5G.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Oppo announced to launch Reno8 T Series for the Indonesian market, consisting of two devices, namely the Reno8 T 4G and Reno8 T 5G.

The letter T refers to being topped up, which means a major improvement making the device perform more excellent than the previous generation. In more detail, topped-up features include three components, namely design, camera, and performance.

“T is topped up. There are three things that we topped up on the Reno8 T Series device. We have a topped-up design. We have the appearance of a flagship device. Also, we have an improved fiberglass leather design and an upgrade for the orbiting light,” said PR Manager of Oppo Indonesia Aryo Meidianto at the sneak peek event at Gandaria City (01/31).

Further, the topped-up camera is equipped with prominent features including a 100MP sensor and AI super-resolution portrait. According to Aryo, the 100MP camera feature is not the first embedded in the Reno series. “If we look back, Reno3 and Reno3 Pro have the same feature, which is what we call a 108MP ultra clear image,” said Aryo.

However, the ultra-clear image feature on Reno3 and Reno3 Pro utilizes an artificial intelligence algorithm calculation while the 100MP feature on Reno8 T Series is armed with sensor technology. However, users can still use AI algorithms in this latest series.

Device smoothness guarantee up to 4 years

Meanwhile, topped-up performance is presented through 48-month fluency protection to guarantee the smoothness of the device for at least 4 years of use. This new member of Reno8 is equipped with ColorOS 13 and Supervooc fast charging.

Aryo voiced, “We have a guarantee of 48 months of smoothness or about 4 years of guaranteed smoothness of the operating system using ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 and also Oppo’s typical fast charging, namely Supervooc.”

The Reno8 T 4G is available in two color variants, namely midnight black with Oppo glow and sunset orange with a fiberglass-leather design. The fiberglass leather material has passed a series of durability tests, spanning 5,000 times rubbing alcohol tests, 200,000 times rubbing tests on denim, and 10,000 times rubbing tests with rubber materials.

Further, the latest series will be officially launched on February 7, 2023, online. Meanwhile, the Reno8 T 5G device which has a 3D curved screen will be available after the launch of the 4G device.
