Vice-Regent Kasmidi expects the good support of East Kutai PDKT to advance the district

Heaptalk, Jakarta — The inauguration of the East Kalimantan Dayak Alliance (PDKT) of the East Kutai branch for the period 2022-2027 was attended by the Vice-Regent of East Kutai, Kasmidi Bulang, at the Multipurpose Building (11/03). This new PDKT of East Kutai was led by Arang Jau, who also served as a DPRD member of the region.

Following the inauguration activity, Kasmidi appreciated the PDKT members. He looks forward to the organization can continue to synergize to bolster the local government in the form of the region development matter, particularly in the regency areas with 18 sub-districts.

“I expect the inauguration of these new members will deliver an equal contribution as the former board members with high dedication, related to the ideology and other matters to reach a tremendous progress of East Kutai,” said Kasmidi in front of the Elected Chairman, Arang Jau; the General Secretary of the PDKT East Kalimantan, Yulianus Henock Sumua; the Deputy Chairman 1 of the East Kutai, Asti Mazar; and representatives from Forkomimda at the Akasia Room.

Furthermore, he added that East Kutai has a vast territory which divided into 18 sub-districts. Several communities are dominated by people who come from the Dayak tribe. On the other hand, Kasmidi also expressed gratitude to the Dayak community for contributing to the government in preserving the area’s security.

“I also appreciate the traditional elders who have motivated and provided wise solutions for helping our parties to overcome numerous issues in the field. For this reason, on behalf of the government, I am incredibly thankful to the parties involved,” Kasmidi said.

In addition, the local government would also attempt to provide opportunities devoted to the entire regional organizations, including PDKT, to improve its potential in evolving the regency that only turned the age of 23rd.

“Thus, we congratulated the PDKT for inaugurating its new members, and let’s strengthen a good synergy with the government in building this regency. I also look forward to the general society participating in reaching more advanced of the region,” added Kasmidi.

Previously, the Elected Chairman of PDKT at East Kutai, Arang Jau, claimed being an organizational manager is a social duty to the community in maintaining unity among fellow citizens, especially in East Kutai.

“We are prepared to collaborate to assist the government in developing this beloved region. For this reason, we hope that organizations and communities from all ethnicities can amplify unity well,” Aranng said in his closing statement.
