The company has been investing in the UK for many years, and today’s investment builds on a previous five-year investment of US$2.5 billion in 2018. This continued investment in the UK will drive innovation and support its growing customer base.
Salesforce ecosystem in fueling growth across the UK
Refers to the IDC report, Salesforce, and its UK-based ecosystem and partners will create about 271,000 new jobs and generate US$66 billion in new business revenues by 2026. However, the emergence of generative AI is considered a powerful reminder of UK businesses’ digital skills crisis.
As a result, the company affirmed to inject new funds into digital skills training. Moreover, the company announced a grant of over US$1.3 million to bolster education programs in the UK. It is urging businesses and the government to work together to establish a national online digital skills platform to show people where to access the training they need.
This cloud company also provides upskilling opportunities through its free online learning platform Trailhead. To date, this platform has backed more than 5 million people to build their skills and prepare for the future of work with AI.
