Heaptalk, Jakarta—The Indonesian government honored the synergy among franchise business owners in revitalizing the country’s economic spirit during the pandemic through the Indonesia Franchise Forum Bizfest 2021 event organized on December 7th—13th, 2021. Through this synergy, IFF-Bizfest 2021 has successfully recorded a total transaction value of Rp 35,9 billion, comprising shopping festival revenue of Rp 6.5 billion, business opportunity potential revenue of Rp 25,7 billion, and real revenue of Rp 3,6 billion.
IFF-Bizfest 2021 was organized by the collaboration of the Indonesia Franchise Association (AFI), Indonesia Franchise Community and License, Indonesia License Association, and supported by the Ministry of Trade.
“The synergy created by IFF-Bizfest 2021 is expected to serve as a good jumping-off point for future events aimed at increasing the competitiveness and market access of local franchisers, both domestic and international,“ said Director General of Domestic Trade, Oke Nurwan, during the Indonesia Franchise Forum-Bizfest 2021 closing ceremony held on Monday (13/12) at the Pullman Hotel, Central Park, Jakarta.
Oke expects that the success of this event will act as a catalyst to increase investment, business opportunities, and transaction value inside the domestic market—also in the licensed business and franchise sector.
IFF-Bizfest 2021 is also expected to stimulate the national economy’s recovery, which can provide additional employment opportunities that are aligned with the increasing number of entrepreneurs in those industry sectors.
