Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Regency Government, through an Office of Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (Diskop MSME), continues to enhance the Human Resources (SDM) capacity by conducting numerous technical training and guidance (Bimtek). The activity held in Teras Belad Caffe (10/10) was opened by the Head of Diskop and MSME at East Kutai, Darsafani, representing East Kutai Regent, Ardiansyah Sulaiman.
The activity is addressed to the MSME players and is expected to contribute to their business development. As recorded in the latest data in the region, several sub-districts in East Kutai Regency have contained around 20 SMEs players, consisting of Bengalon, Kaubun Teluk Pandan, and South Sangatta sub-district that follows the Bimtek Standardization and Legality for MSME products.
In 2022, the Head of Diskop and MSME at East Kutai, Darsafani, revealed the year has plenty of technical and guidance programs that his party initiated. This guidance program for the region’s MSME is expected to improve the business expertise of human resources and Micro, Small, and Medium actors in East Kutai. In his statement, he also expects the participants to continue to innovate for their business progress to create a people’s economy.
“This activity is one of the programs that we have implemented. Previously, we have conducted training about processing various materials, spanning bamboo, rattan, kelulut honey, and mangrove fruit. Also, we have organized MSME management and the technical guidance and legality for MSME products today,” Darsafani added.
Apart from organizing technical guidance, this regional government agency also provides diverse equipment for bolstering the participants’ business operations. Regarding raw materials procurement, including bamboo, rattan, and mangrove fruit, Darsafani hopes numerous parties can cultivate the raw material for long-term provision.
During this Bimtek and Legality for MSME products program, the entity has appointed an instructor of the Center for Standardization and Industrial Services (BSPJI) and a representative of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) of Samarinda to take part as the spokesperson in the occasion.
By implementing this technical guidance program, the Head of Diskop and MSME at East Kutai suggested the participant could apply the insight obtained to elevate the participant’s business level.
