Heaptalk, Jakarta — An out-of-home media company City Vision inaugurates the launch of its public advertising medium, namely the iconic Bundaran HI digital network located at the Plaza Indonesia Shopping Mall in the heart of the metropolitan city of Jakarta (12/14).
With a large of 800 square meters, the digital network is the largest out-of-home digital network in Jakarta consisting of three giant exterior LEDs, namely the curved, the ribbon, and the Thamrin LED as well as the two interior LEDs.
The curved screen faces south of Plaza Indonesia, presenting a visual advertising space with attractive 3D viewing from various angles. The 93-meter-length ribbon LED that stretches along the pedestrian crossing at the Grand Hyatt Hotel can be equipped with audio-enabled technology to provide a unique experience for pedestrians.
Meanwhile, the Thamrin LED that adorns the east side of Plaza Indonesia with a protruding screen can attract the attention of MRT Bundaran HI users, pedestrians, and vehicles passing on the MH Thamrin protocol road.

Along with the times and technology, people are increasingly fond of interactive audio-visual entertainment. Digital out-of-home (DOOH) is also an alternative advertising space that can attract people’s attention with sharp visual quality and can interact directly with visitors. The freshly launched DOOH is expected not only to become an outdoor advertising medium but also to become a new attraction for domestic and foreign tourists.
Co-founder of City Vision Meyrick Sumantri delivered, “The presence of the iconic Bundaran HI digital network is inspired by Times Square, New York, and also Piccadilly Circus, London. Hopefully, by placing it in an iconic location in Jakarta, it can become an entertainment attraction for the capital city.”
With the magnificent size and latest technology including augmented reality, Meyrick is optimistic that the digital out-of-home network will be an effective option for advertisers to increase awareness of the brand and interact with potential consumers.
