Box cooperates with OpenAI to to develop an AI tool that can summarize financial documents, derive insights from customer surveys, and customize onboarding documents to match customer needs.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Cloud storage provider, Box, introduced its new feature enhanced by AI models, namely Box AI (05/02). This AI tool is claimed to help uncover and share insights, find timely answers to critical questions, and create content based on an organization’s data stored in Box.
“We are at the start of a platform shift in enterprise software driven by recent advancements in generative AI, and nowhere is the potential impact greater than in enterprise content,” said Co-founder and CEO of Box, Aaron Levie, quoted from Business Wire.
Concurrently, the company also announced that it will collaborate with OpenAI to embed its AI models in the Box Content Cloud to provide a new way of understanding and creating content on the platform.
In more detail, Box said that its newest AI feature has the ability to summarize financial documents, derive insights from customer surveys, and customize onboarding documents to match specific customer needs.
Analyzing and synthesizing large amounts of data
According to Aaron, his party has made functional improvements in its services to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data contained in organizational documents, videos, presentations, spreadsheets, and others.
“When combined with AI, we will be able to unlock the value of this content and make every person in a company smarter and more productive. Content is an organization’s most important data, and with Box AI we are just getting started with how we will transform the way work gets done,” conveyed Levie.
Further, Box will preview two initial Box AI capabilities at the Content Cloud Summit on May 9, 2023. The company is optimistic that this tool will bring foundational AI models to where their content is already securely stored, making the files inside of an organization more useful and valuable than ever before.
To access the new tool, users can submit a request through an upcoming Design Partner Program. The company will announce specific pricing and packaging after general availability.
