Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), through its subsidiary BNI Ventures, launched BNV Arcade to expedite startup growth through digitalization evolution, which is expected to uplift the entrepreneurship rate from 3% this year to 8% in 2045.

“BNV Arcade is a concrete step to create a platform that allows startups to develop innovative ideas that can be integrated into the BNI Group ecosystem. “This program aims to strengthen the synergy between startups and BNI Group,”

BNV Arcade carries a gamification concept consisting of three primary initiatives, including:

  1. Match Arc aims to improve business continuity between startups and BNI Group business units.
  2. Axel Arc is an accelerator program that consists of monitoring and market access.
  3. Forge Arc, an initiative in the development of venture builders

During the launch agenda, BNI also provides fireside chat discussion session inviting startup founders such as Bisma Manda Samsu (Kecilin. id), Sabrina Soewatdy (Rukita), and Bayu Anggara (Fishlog), moderated by Faye Wongso (KUMPUL.ID). This discussion session emphasized the importance of innovation for company growth and sustainability as well as understanding the transformation of accomplished collaboration between the BNI Group, corporations, and startups.

In its innovative measure to boost local startup potential, BNI Ventures collaborated with partners from the startup ecosystem, namely KUMPUL.ID, Block 71, and Tech In Asia, BNI Group’s investment unit for venture capital and startups.

“Innovation programs, such as BNV Arcade, have the potential to bring the latest innovation and technology to the BNI Group. With the innovation brought by BNV Arcade, BNI Group’s operational efficiency has the potential to increase significantly,” the Director of Technology and Operations at BNI, Toto Prasetio, said.
