Heaptalk, Jakarta — Trimegah Karya Pratama (Ultra Corp.) and its partner Altastratus Indonesia (Ultra Loyalty) have established a partnership with Esensi Solusi Buana (ESB) to facilitate payment methods using vouchers and loyalty points redemption directly within the cashier application ecosystem of ESB.
The Ultra Voucher Gift Card (UVGC) and loyalty points from Ultra Loyalty will be redeemable at partners collaborating with ESB. Multiple restaurants using the ESB point of sales (POS) ecosystem will be able to accept payments using UVGC from Ultra Voucher, a brand of Ultra Corp., and loyalty programs supported by Ultra Loyalty.
According to a Populix survey in 2024, offline shopping activities in the community doubled post-pandemic. Some motivations include a preference to experience products directly (77%), no shipping costs (66%), and the proximity of stores (62%). This has contributed to the revival of the F&B business in Indonesia since the 2019-2021 pandemic and positively impacted the digitalization of the industry in the country through ESB.
As one of the providers of specialized cashier applications for F&B in Indonesia, ESB has contributed to digitizing the payment ecosystem for culinary businesses in more than 30,000 merchants and 13,000 brands across Indonesia. Gunawan, CEO of ESB, stated that the collaboration between ESB and Ultra Corporation is a breakthrough to help the public transact more practically and economically at various restaurants that have partnered with ESB.
Bringing a more efficient and modern experience
“The collaboration with Ultra Voucher also signifies ESB’s commitment to providing software capable of integrating the entire culinary business and supporting industries within one ecosystem. Through this collaboration, we hope that the integrated system with Ultra Corporation can help business owners or F&B brands increase sales through the acceptance of vouchers and points as payments, as well as attractive marketing tools to attract new customers, thereby providing value-added benefits that can positively impact customers’ transaction experiences,” Gunawan said in South Jakarta (12/12).
Riky H. Permata, Director of Ultra Corp., stated, “In the future, customers can order food and beverages and then make payments using vouchers, gift cards, even loyalty points at all ESB merchants supported by us. We also believe this collaboration will bring a more efficient and modern experience for customers.”
Johanes Jeffry Tarore, Director of Ultra Loyalty, explained that through this partnership, Ultra Voucher and Ultra Loyalty will be connected with ESB POS, which is linked to thousands of outlets across Indonesia. “This collaboration represents our shared vision with ESB to offer practicality not only for customers but also for businesses by providing seamless redemption options for UVGC and Ultra Loyalty points. This can certainly become an excellent marketing and retention program for all business owners through their various brands by stimulating customers to transact continuously,” Jeffry concluded.
