Heaptalk, Jakarta — Volta and Energi Selalu Baru (ESB), subsidiaries of NFC Indonesia (NFCX), have entered into a strategic collaboration with Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC) to enhance electric vehicle (EV) services and infrastructure in Indonesia (07/30).
This collaboration is expected to facilitate consumers to access quality products through the expansion of sales networks. Through this initiative, each party will contribute according to their technical expertise, including securing the availability of spare parts and essential components and promoting the benefits of electric vehicles to the public.
In more detail, the latest cooperation encompasses comprehensive after-sales services, efficient warehouse management, and joint marketing strategies. Additionally, the involved parties will work together on expanding the sales network and developing synergistic branding.
This strategic collaboration follows previous agreement between Volta and IBC aimed at developing a battery-based electric motorcycle industry ecosystem. Okie Octavia Kurniawan, CEO of Volta and Director of NFCX, stated, “Through this collaboration, we hope to accelerate the growth of the electric vehicle industry through technological innovation and the development of EV infrastructure.”
According to Toto Nugroho, President Director of IBC, this collaboration will accelerate the development of electric vehicle infrastructure in Indonesia and ensure the creation of an integrated and efficient electric vehicle ecosystem. “We are confident that this synergy will have a significant positive impact on the community and Indonesia’s economy, as well as strengthen our position as an accelerator in the transition to greener mobility,” Toto concluded.
