Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Espay Debit Indonesia Koe (Dana), a digital wallet-based financial technology company, has announced its latest service—cardless cash withdrawals—through a collaboration with PT Abadi Tambah Mulia Internasional (ATMi).
This partnership enables Dana to balance withdrawals at 9,000 ATMs within the ATMi network across Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara. Approximately 74% of ATMi’s ATMs are located in satellite cities and rural areas, aligning with Dana’s target market. ATMi’s ATM network can be found in retail outlets, including Alfamart and Indomaret, as well as traditional markets.
Dana and ATMi offer free withdrawal fees for Dana balances until December 31, 2024, to attract users. This initiative is also expected to engage and build trust among users in satellite cities and rural areas, where interest in digital wallets is steadily rising. Darrick Rochili, Chief Innovation Officer of Dana Indonesia, stated that the era of synergy and collaboration is an ideal time for digital wallets and independent ATM networks such as ATMi to work together to expand Indonesian financial access.
Providing accessible financial services
“Supported by our open ecosystem, the integration between Dana and ATMi has been smooth. The cardless cash withdrawal service has been available to users since October. With a shared commitment to inclusivity with ATMi, we believe the cash withdrawal option through ATMi will effectively meet Dana users’ needs,” Darrick said in a written statement (10/28).
According to Rudy Hadi, President Director of ATMi, the company’s mission is to be an independent ATM network provider that offers trusted and accessible financial services for Indonesians. Rudy stated, “To realize this mission, we understand the importance of collaboration with various industries, including Dana. The combination of Dana and ATMi’s technology makes this secure and easy cardless withdrawal service possible.”
ATMi is an independent ATM network provider in Indonesia, supported by PT Alto Network, which leverages its extensive network. Rangga Wiseno, Director of Business at Alto, welcomed the multi-party collaboration. “Alto Network, as ATMi’s main supporter, is pleased with this partnership. With our commitment to continually delivering the best solutions through evolving payment technology, we believe our reach and capabilities will enable the public to enjoy convenient and efficient cardless cash withdrawals,” Rangga concluded.
