Tana Tidung Regency chose East Kutai as a reference for strategic planning in preparing a government center with a total area of 400 hectares.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman and Vice Regent Kasmidi Bulang received a working visit from the Government of Tana Tidung Regency, North Kalimantan Province, at the Meranti Room, East Kutai Regency Secretariat Office (06/05). The Tana Tidung delegation was led directly by the Regent Ibrahim Ali.
One of the agenda for the visit was a discussion hosted by the Head of the Protocol and Communication Division for the East Kutai Regency Secretariat, Basuki Isnawan. After that, the Head of the East Kutai Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Noviari Noor, presented the vision and mission of the East Kutai Regent and Vice Regent.
“This meeting maintains good relationships while holding discussions for the progress of each region,” said Ardiansyah. This meeting brought many benefits, particularly related to discussions that support development in East Kutai and Tana Tidung as well as future government programs.
Currently, Tana Tidung Regency is preparing a government center with a total of 400 hectares of land that has the status of land management rights. Ardiansyah hopes that this visit can provide a reference for the Tana Tidung Government in preparing a strategic plan for the development of the government center.
Both regencies own mines, plantations, and forests
Meanwhile, Tana Tidung Regent Ibrahim Ali said that one of the objectives of the working visit was to strengthen good relationships between the two regencies. Currently, it is still in the process of developing the government area. According to Ibrahim, there are similarities in the characteristics of the two regencies that influence development programs, including community and regional characteristics. Both also own mines, plantations, and forests.
Therefore, there are several aspects of development in East Kutai that can be adopted by the Tana Tidung Government. Ibrahim voiced, “We decided to study in East Kutai as we saw its government area on 600 hectares of land that is well-developed, an organized office center, and the most important social impact to emulate.”
Ibrahim said that his party would implement the results of this visit to East Kutai in building the Tana Tidung Government Center. “Surely this can be an inspiration. Further, this will be realized in Tana Tidung,” concluded Ibrahim.
