Heaptalk, Jakarta— Giring Ganesha Djumaryo, the Indonesian lead vocalist of the Nidji Band, attended the appointment with the elected President, Prabowo Subianto.
Following a meeting with Prabowo, Giring briefly spoke to the media, revealing that he and Gerindra Party politician Fadli Zon had been assigned a significant responsibility in national development, specifically focusing on Indonesian culture. Nevertheless, regarding his potential position as Deputy Minister of Culture, he refrained from giving a direct answer, noting that any such announcements would come from Prabowo, who had already been elected President.
“I would like to thank Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming for trusting me. We had a brief conversation, and I was given clear guidance on several matters. It is clear that we have a great responsibility to build this nation and country,” he affirmed.
The selection process for potential ministers has been conducted since Monday, October 14, with various candidates from diverse backgrounds. Prabowo, speaking about the meetings, stated that all invitees had expressed their willingness to serve as ministers. These meetings were conducted to confirm their commitments.
“They have declared their readiness to assist me. Today’s meeting was essentially to confirm that, and I reassured myself that they are committed to helping me in the areas I offered. Numerous parties have agreed,” Prabowo said.
