The three organizations under the auspices of the East Kutai Religious Communication Forum are Interfaith Youth, Interfaith Women, and Swarga Bara Harmony Awareness Village.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Vice Regent Kasmidi Bulang inaugurated three ass organizations, namely Interfaith Youth (Pelita), Interfaith Women (Perlita), and Swarga Bara Harmony Awareness Village (29/06).

The three organizations are under the auspices of the Religious Communication Forum known as Forum Komunikasi Umat Beragam (FKUB). Taking place in the Hall of the Integrated Hajj and Umrah Service Center Building (PLHUT) of the East Kutai Ministry of Religion, the inauguration aims to maintain and increase tolerance through FKUB in East Kutai.

“Thank you for your participation. Surely, managing these organizations requires a high social spirit,” said Kasmidi. He advised the three organizations to properly carry out their mandated tasks and be able to maintain conduciveness, the spirit of friendship, and peace in society.

According to Kasmidi, the efforts made by FKUB are in accordance with one of the government’s policy directions in national development in the field of religion, namely increasing interreligious harmony. For this reason, he wants Pelita, Perlita, and Swarga Bara Harmony Awareness Village to act as the driving force in the East Kutai FKUB.

“Perlita and Pelita need to back up all FKUB programs and invite dialogue in all interfaith forums, primarily the people of East Kutai, about tolerance,” said Kasmidi.

Meanwhile, East Kutai FKUB Chairman Abdul Hafied Yusuf said that the formation of organizations under the auspices of the FKUB was necessary to strengthen the duties and functions of the forum as an adhesive for interfaith friendship and tolerance.

“Previously, we had formed FKUB in 18 districts. Today our agenda is the inauguration of the Perlita, Pelita, and Swarga Bara Harmony Awareness Village which we will then provide a briefing,” concluded Abdul.
