Heaptalk, Jakarta — To establish the economic transformation foundation toward Golden Indonesia 2045, the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/Bappenas held a 2025 central development coordination meeting on Monday (05/05) at the Bappenas Building in Jakarta in conjunction with the initial meeting for the drafting of the 2026 government work plan (RKP).

In his opening remarks, PPN Minister/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy emphasized the urgency of this meeting to produce impactful programs and policies. “The 2026 RKP is formulated with an optimistic, concrete, and non-business-as-usual approach. This ensures programs and policies have direct, measurable impacts while strengthening our efforts toward structural economic transformation for Golden Indonesia 2045,” Rachmat stated.

The 2026 Government Work Plan carries the theme ‘Food and Energy Sovereignty, and a Productive, Inclusive Economy.’ Rachmat explained that this theme reflects efforts to strengthen domestic resilience, address global challenges, and ensure tangible development impacts for all Indonesians.

Rachmat further elaborated, “The 2026 government work plan includes five priority programs aligned with President Prabowo Subianto’s directives: People’s schools, education digitalization, red-and-white village cooperatives, poverty eradication, and waste management. These five priorities are based on the Development Trident framework to achieve sustained high growth, targeting 6.3% economic growth, extreme poverty reduction, and improved human resource quality.”

Closing his speech, Rachmat hoped the Central Development Coordination Meeting would provide a strong foundation for drafting the 2026 government work plan. Solid collaboration and innovation are key to realizing Golden Indonesia 2045. “We invite all ministries/agencies/regional governments to strengthen central and local development coordination, open dialogue with businesses, academics, and civil society, and promote innovative financing schemes to ensure all stakeholders actively accelerate development,” he concluded.
