Heaptalk, Jakarta — Bullion Services, known as the gold bank, has officially launched in Indonesia on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at The Gade Tower in Jakarta. Initiated by Pegadaian and BSI, this breakthrough was inaugurated directly by Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto, along with Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartanto and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir.
Supporting this initiative, Lakuemas showcased its services at the launch of Bullion Services, presenting a booth that featured its outstanding Gold ATM service, which has been operational since 2019. Notably, Lakuemas is the only one among six officially licensed digital physical gold traders from BAPPEBTI to offer physical gold withdrawal through an ATM.
Edy Setiawan, CEO of Lakuemas, expressed, “We congratulate and take pride in the launch of Bullion Services by Pegadaian and BSI. We see this launch as an important initiative that will strengthen the gold ecosystem in Indonesia.” He further emphasized that as the largest private company focused on retail jewelry in Southeast Asia through CMK Group, Lakuemas’ participation in this event demonstrates its commitment to being a strong partner in the digital gold investment landscape for the people of Indonesia.

According to Lakuemas, Bullion Services represents a vital step for companies in reinforcing strategic relationships with various national financial institutions and underscores their commitment to supporting digitization and financial inclusion in the gold sector.
Looking ahead, Lakuemas aims to continue growing as a trusted partner within the national gold ecosystem. “Our hope aligns with the government’s vision to build a more transparent gold market that is accessible to the general public,” Edy stated.
As an omni-channel platform, Lakuemas remains flexible in executing both digital and physical gold transactions. Currently, Lakuemas offers its physical gold buying and selling services through the Lakuemas Boutique, an online application for gold transactions, and an ATM for physical gold withdrawals, while being part of the CMK ecosystem that encompasses some of the largest retail jewelry companies in Southeast Asia.
