Heaptalk, Jakarta — Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2025 officially concluded on Saturday (10/12) after being held for four days at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten.
This international exhibition and modest fashion show successfully generated potential transactions worth US$20.4 million, surpassing the targeted transaction of US$3 million. JMFW 2025 featured 239 local brands, showcasing more than 1,000 fashion collections. Additionally, the diversity of designs combining local wisdom with global trends became one of the event’s main attractions.
Mardyana Listyowati, Director General of National Export Development at the Ministry of Trade, praised the exhibition’s success. “JMFW 2025 has run well. We are proud of the successful execution of various JMFW 2025 events, including fashion shows, trade exhibitions, business matching, talk shows, and textile design competitions. The Ministry of Trade continues to support the growth of the modest fashion industry in Indonesia,” Mardyana stated.
Participated by 56 countries

Furthermore, she added that the four-day exhibition attracted tens of thousands of visitors, ranging from industry players and the public to buyers from various countries. In addition, 56 countries participated in the business matching, including Japan, Paris, the Netherlands, and others.
Held alongside the 39th Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI), this event adopted the theme ‘Mark Ink,’ aiming to establish Indonesia as one of the influential countries in the global modest fashion industry. JMFW serves as a bridge toward the upcoming Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival (IN2MF), scheduled from October 30 to November 3, 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
During the event, Mardyana witnessed the signing of a joint statement between L’adresse Paris Agency and the Islamic Fashion Institute (IFI), along with eight local brands. These brands include Shiroshima Indonesia, Jenna and Kaia, Artkea, Party, Khasoe, Adia Lavani, Varyan, and Christin Wu. The Paris Trade Attaché facilitated the signing of this joint statement.
Furthermore, she witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry and PT Kreasi Kriya Indonesia. This is expected to promote Indonesia’s modest fashion industry further globally.
