Heaptalk, Jakarta – Asephi expressed its optimism over the organizing of the Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) 2025 which is slated to be held from 5 to 9 February 2025 at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). According to Asephi’s Chairman Muchsin Ridjan, Inacraft Classic 2025 will be participated by 1,061 exhibitors and target to attain Rp100 billion in retail transaction.

“This year, we hope we can attract 100,000 visitors. The event also is estimated to achieve Rp100 billion retail transaction and USD 1.5 million trade contracts,” voiced Asephi’s Chairman Muchsin Ridjan (02/04).

“Inacraft will not solely be an exhibition, but also a means of education and socialization. Therefore, both participants and visitors, can get more benefits,” conveyed Muchsin Ridjan on the Inacraft press conference in JICC, Jakarta.

The collaboration effort is reflected through one of its activities, “Mbatik 25 meters”, (make 25 meters batik), representing an important moment of Inacraft 25th anniversary. Visitors can play a role in engraving natural colors on batik with hot wax, depicting INACRAFT’s 25-year travel motif.

“Although it was delayed due to the pandemic, INACRAFT has grow until now. If anything, it is held twice a year to advance the archipelago’s handicraft products to the world level,” conveyed Muchsin.

South Asia’s largest handicraft expo will carry the sub-theme “The Cosmological Axis of Yogyakarta, Living in Harmony”. Collaborating with Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) as an exhibition icon, Inacraft will highlight superior handicraft products while raising the beauty and richness of Yogyakarta’s tradition, art and culture, starting from Dance and Music Karawitan, Trunk Show, and other arts that can be enjoyed by visitors at the Icon Stage in the Selasar Main Lobby.
