Heaptalk, Jakarta — On Friday (01/26), the final season of Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC) Season 14, which was initiated by PT Wismilak Inti Makmur, chalked out a historical milestone in Indonesian entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The President Director of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur, Ronald Walla explained that DSC Season 14 provides the winners with grant fund, free guidance from experts for two years, and the opportunities to expand their business from various aspects with a total fund of Rp 2.5 billion.

The mentors include Ricardo Petricius (Chipsy Chips/Agridea), Nurdini Prihastiti (Dama Kara), Nathania Tifara (Guru Bumi), Adhyatma Wiradharma (Verus Audio), Septia Erianty (Oganic Lombok), Ria Andriana (Street Sushi), and Mirna An Nissa (Primal Surf International).

One of the winners, Yoel Tristan, who won the ‘Best of the Best’ category, stated that previously, he failed to build his business for seven times, thus, in his new business, namely FI+/FUEL, he aimed to learn more from the mentors who are expert in this field.

“I have the willingness to learn more from the mentors, notably for my business, which adopts sustainability goal,” stated Tristan.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Commissionaire DSC Session 14 Surjanto Yasaputera, as a young entrepreneur, Tristan has a strong character. His F&B concept, which combines healthy food and guilty pleasure, is interesting and aligned with society’s concern about choosing healthy food.

DSC’s Board of Commissioners Helmi Yahya delivered his pride and appreciation to the winners. He perceived that the competitors not only have various business ideas but also initiate businesses that adopt SDG principles. He added, “DSC is not only about who the winners or the losers are but about who can seize more benefits and expand its network and learn from great mentors.”

For information, in this season, the challengers followed a special activity, named Defend the Nation from National Resilience Institute (LEMHANAS) and Brigade Infanteri 17 in Cijantung, East Jakarta. In this agenda, the finalist will obtain information about four manifestos of DSC, namely the nation’s character, governance, environment, and social culture, which become vital parts of nurturing the love of the country.

In the battle round, challengers visited and collaborated with multiple parties, starting from the manufacturing industry to the entertainment industry. The finalist is directly involved in the production process from downstream to upstream directly. In this stage, the challengers are expected to provide real contributions to expand and sustain their businesses.
